Find what others can't. The Search and Recovery specialty gives you the skills and knowledge to conduct efficient searches and recover underwater objects . From lost equipment to submerged treasure, this specialty teaches you how to plan, execute, and carry out dives focused on locating and recovering objects in a variety of aquatic environments.
Aimed at Advanced or Adventure Diver divers, over 12 years old.

✔️ Search Dive Planning: Learn how to plan search and recovery dives tailored to local conditions.
✔️ Search techniques: Practice different search patterns, such as spiral, linear, and square searches, to maximize the efficiency of your dives.
✔️ Use of recovery tools: Handles specialized tools and equipment for the recovery of objects, such as nets, hooks and lifting bags.
✔️ Identification of submerged objects: Learn to locate and recognize objects underwater using visual references and techniques.
✔️ Safety in recovery: Understand how to work safely, controlling buoyancy and avoiding damage to the marine environment or diving equipment.
✔️ Recovery procedures: Perform the recovery of objects safely, respecting the integrity of the marine environment and using techniques to avoid stirring up sediment or damaging the equipment.
✔️ Situation assessment: Learn to assess conditions before conducting a search, considering factors such as visibility, current, temperature, and bottom structure.
The certification courses are structured as follows

🤿Day 1: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm ➡️ 2 dives in the sea
🤿Day 2: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm ➡️ 2 dives in the sea
🕛 Schedule and meeting point
All diving trips start at 7:30 am ⏰ at our operational facilities in El Rodadero and we return around 1:30 pm
🤿Diving destination
We have more than 30 diving spots between the southern area of Tayrona Park (closed between February 1 and 15), Santa Marta Bay, Gaira, or Taganga.
We choose the dive site daily according to sea conditions and other plans booked on the boat.
⏱️Schedule of activities
🗓️We have departures every day except Wednesdays, just check the availability of the dates that suit you best
🚫✈️Remember that you cannot fly on a plane the same day after diving.
🩺You must be in good health (no flu, no recent surgeries, etc.)

If for any reason the dive cannot take place on the agreed date, the following can be done according to the internal policies found in the link below:
Extend for up to one year
Give to another participant
Refund between 20% and 80% of the money
If the service was performed on the agreed date, according to the sales promise, there will no longer be room for a refund.
