PADI Open Water Diving Course in Santa Marta: International Certification
What is it about?
If you dream of exploring the underwater world, these courses are the ideal starting point, and you have two paths:
🔹 PADI Scuba Diver: A faster and more accessible introductory certification, perfect if you're short on time. It allows you to dive to 12 meters, always under the supervision of a PADI Professional.
🔹 PADI Open Water Diver : The complete course that certifies you as an autonomous diver, allowing you to explore up to 18 meters anywhere in the world without the need for a guide, only with a certified buddy.

The certification courses are structured as follows👨🏽💻
💻 Development of e-learning skills on the PADI platform: independent study prior to arrival
🌟Option A) E-learning video: contains related reading and videos plus great resources; you read and see graphically what you have just learned
😒Option B) E-learning without video: contains only reading, the videos must be viewed at our facilities (6 additional hours in the classroom before or after the dives), it is more study time here.

🌊 Open water: sessions to apply what you've learned in the sea

🐟 Practice
🤿Day 1: 7 am to 3:00 pm ➡️ 5 or 6 confined water sessions.
🤿Day 2: 7 am to 1:30 pm ➡️ 2 or 3 dives in the sea
🤿Day 3: 7 am to 1:30 pm ➡️ 2 or 3 dives in the sea
P.S.: The days do not necessarily have to be consecutive.
🕛 Schedule and meeting point
All diving trips start at 7:30 am ⏰ at our operational facilities in El Rodadero and we return around 1:30 pm
🤿Diving destination
We have more than 30 diving spots between the southern area of Tayrona Park, Santa Marta Bay, Gaira, and Taganga.
We choose the dive site daily according to sea conditions and other plans booked on the boat.
⏱️Schedule of activities
🗓️We have departures every day except Wednesdays, just check the availability of the dates that suit you best.
🚫✈️Remember that you cannot fly on a plane the same day after diving.
🩺You must be in good health (no flu, no recent surgeries, etc.)

Durante el curso realizarás 9 sesiones prácticas, pero cuanto más practiques, mejores serán tus destrezas.
Si enlazas el curso con la Especialidad de Flotabilidad, realizarás una décima inmersión enfocada en el control absoluto de flotabilidad, ¡una habilidad clave para los buzos expertos! o puedes realizas mas inmersiones de experiencia.
